Quilt Parade

Vicki and I had a bunch of fun photographing the Quilts4Hope quilts in her yard before they got packed up for the plane ride to Rwanda. They will be given to 7 children and the widow "auntie" who cares for them in a small orphanage home. Not wanting all those pretty pictures to go to waste, here's one more look at the parade...

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words about the quilts.
Its a project very dear to my heart.

  1. The big wagon was a perfect place to display the quilts for a photo. I don't have a big yard but one of those would be fun to have.

  3. I've enjoyed seeing your posts with all the quilts for Rwanda. I'd love to hear more about this project. It's so wonderful that you can touch to lives of children (and an "auntie") that live so far away with these quilts.

  6. I have also loved these posts, and it just occurred to me that the quilts themselves will remain together, at least for awhile :) The children will have fun choosing and comparing.... a lovely thing you all have done, any way you think of it :)
