I found it interesting that the children's themed animal print is part of this collection, actually. It seems a little out of context with the pretty florals. But, that sure didn't keep me from picking three gorgeous colors of my favorite to come home with me!
Aren't they just beautiful? I wish that I knew what flower that is....anyone know?
Looks like garlic to me (the flower). I agree about the animals seeming out of place. I am considering making a quilt for our bed with Central Park but I will be switching out the animals for an alternative if I do. A little too wild for OUR bedroom :) hahaha
ReplyDeleteMore baby cuteness. You are something. Love the jungle print.
ReplyDeleteI really like Central Park. That orange is so yummy!
ReplyDeleteIt's Agapanthus. Grows in warmer climes than mine...I think it zone 6 or above.
ReplyDeleteI love those animals! Did you get that at Harpers?
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers, too - and am also confused about the animals. They don't really fit. But they are cute!
ReplyDeleteI want to make some of those! Little Jane will look precious in that great fabric. So so cute! I have no idea about the little flower....you know me and flowers.....no green thumb here!
ReplyDeleteJim looked it up and it could be an Allium (Ornamental Onion). Our book has both pictures that are shown in the fabric. It makes pretty fabric. HA!
ReplyDelete;o)
ReplyDeletei was thinking dandelions? or chives!
Don't have a clue about the flower, but Central Park has a zoo, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI too thought it was Allium. I have some in the yard! Love Central Park and as always I am sure you will make something fabulous with it!
ReplyDeleteHi - lovely fabric finds! And I recognized that flower from my neighbor's garden. It is a perennial called Stokesia, and it has the prettiest blue-purplish flowers. Both the flower and leaves look like the fabric. Apparently there are many flowers with a similar look!
ReplyDeleteI just love the Central Park Collection...it is next on my "must have" list. Do you know Kate Spain also has a line of dishes at Crate and Barrel, from this same collection? They too are too sweet:)
ReplyDeleteI do love stopping by your blog..so many fresh ideas, and fresh quilts! Thank you for the time you put into it!
