Weekend Doodles

A little "fun" sewing this weekend:
Ten cutie patootie churn dash blocks to add to my Mid-Century Modern Bee quilt...
a jump start on my newest leader/ender quilt...
two more little kaffe skirts for my grand daughters...
Maelie even modeled hers for you...
She and I had fun picking out a plant for her mommy at the garden center.
And Lula modeled the rocking chair pads that I recently covered for her baby sister's nursery...
...while I got some new ideas for future machine quilting.

    Oh, those churn dash blocks are such fun! And Lula and Maelie look like they are having fun! I played around with my bee block- its my turn soon!

    Lovely blocks -- I really like the square on square. The skirts are fun and the book looks very interesting.
    Sewing on the weekend? Nah! How about cleaning and tidying and all the other things that go to preparing a house for the rental market? That's what we did!

    I love that orange skirt for Maelie! I want one too :) And those churn dash blocks - such a gorgeous color scheme. I see in your next post that you've been to the garden nursery. I'm so looking forward to that time here! But I just glanced out the window and we're getting HUGE snowflakes! What?!
