Last summer, my good friend and fellow quilter, Vicki, suggested that we make the Good Fortune quilt together. We agreed to only sew on it when we could do so together. Between chatting, drinking coffee, eating and shopping, our sewing days weren't always as productive as they could have been....but we've sure had some good times!
This week, during our stitching day, we managed to add the final white border to our quilt tops.(Before lunch out and some shopping for our next project!) Here's Vicki's version using pretty soft pastels. I love it so!
I chose Flea Market Fancy for my version.
The colors in our quilts are similar and compliment each other, just like good friends. I'm going to call my quilt, Fortunate Friends!
Now to decide on binding and backing while I think about how I will quilt my top.
Thanks for stopping by.....Hope you have a great weekend!
