Highways

The thing about a challenge is that you just never know how creative you can be until you try something new. For instance, how would you make a highway on a map?
This is how I did it!
Right now, I'm at the 'stewing' point with my maps quilt. You know, that time when you pin your project up on the wall and keep walking by it and asking yourself, "Now what!?"

  1. I know the stewing point well. I have quilts that began with one plan and ended totally differently after an extended stewing period when nothing seemed just right,

  2. I am in that stage but mine is spread out on the floor and the cats keep taking shots at it any chance they can get! :) I love how you made the highway, I don't think I would have figured that out.

  3. Keep this quote in mind " To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong." I 'pinned' it this morning......

  6. I'm really intrigued Carla. Love the highway idea. And I love the quote Suz posted about a creative life. Can't wait to see your reveal. Mine is almost done. I didn't get too arty but I figure it's a process and a step toward more arty things to come. Glad you are part of the group.

  10. I admire you being part of this group. I could NEVER do it. I wouldn't even be able to reach the stewing point!
