I don't know about you, but I have been spending quite a bit of time watering my
flowers over the last few weeks, trying to keep them alive in this heat wave that
we are experiencing!
Betting that Jackie, from Kansas, has been doing the same, I thought that a house
in the shape of a watering can might be appropriate for the July house block
in the Calendar of Houses Bee.
It was fun to spend a little time in the sewing room yesterday,
sewing with a bit of my new Flower Sugar fabrics.
Hope you like the results, Jackie!
Your piecing is always so creative! I've just about given up on my flowers... they are almost all scorched. It's been such a hot summer!

ReplyDeleteIt's just too cute, Carla. And I don't even like flowers... as a general rule. If Jackie doesn't like it, just remember Linda.
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable block! Love the paper piecing and your use of Sherbert Pips girl on a swing!
ReplyDeleteToo CUTE! I love the idea of the watering can house. Great fabrics to do it in!
