Mailman delivers background fabric from Australia: Waiting. Waiting. Waiting....wait..wa..
Fingers drumming on sewing machine table: Check!!
I guess that I'm going to have to substitute another grey for the background . I've been waiting a month now! Hopefully, it will blend in okay. Oh, how I love being a part of the Mid-Century Modern Bee! You can see all the projects we've been working on here.

Suz, your block will get finished and sent back to you even if I have to take it myself and forget the middle mailman. I wish!

  2. I've been collecting oranges and greys lately! No idea what I'm going to do with them, but they all look so pretty stacked together. Some terrific new oranges in those Denyse Schmidt bolts at JoAnn, huh? Love the feathers. Can't wait to see what's next!

  7. Oh darn! It will probably show up right after you find a substitute fabric. Darn! I wish I could figure out what the fabric is...it is really a lovely color and the fabric is beautiful. I don't think it is RK Kona.

  10. Love your fabric selection. I just finished my feather block yesterday and will mail today. Can't wait to see what she makes with all of them. I completely understand not wanting to make a whole bunch of these unless you use the strip method. Love how they are all turning out though. Will make a beautiful quilt.
