Remember how I won an awesome charm pack from Heather at A la Mode Fabric? I was so excited to win these sought after Munki Munki fabrics!
And, since I haven't started a new project in a few hours, days, weeks, I figured it was high time I get going on a quilt for my new granddaughter, Jane! I'm adding in a few other prints to make the quilt big enough for a growing 5 pound baby! Looky, looky............
Your blocks are great! They are going to make an awesome baby quilt. And one day you can share with Jane just how lucky she is to have a quilt made of such special fabric. ;)
Love, love this. You're a quilting genius!! This is gonna be so, so cute. I'm trying to use my 15 min. each day. Then if I get more done, great. If not, I still don't feel like a bum!!
So fun to "meet" you. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog for my healing leg. I'm better every day. I love seeing your work... such fun! I am a mixed up 30 something who dreams of being retired so I can quilt every day! I love seeing you live that life and finding such joy in your creativity. Now... off to sew (since I can't run!)
Since childhood I have had an unquenchable love of fabric. For years now my addiction has been directed toward quilts and, especially, the creation of them. I have the stash to prove it! Fred, my wonderful husband, supports and encourages my hobby. My 3 grown children and their families will never be cold, let's just say. I have a degree in home economics education and worked in a public library until a few years ago. Many days you will find me playing with one or more of my nine beautiful grandchildren.
Ring on the Munki! That's so super cute, and the bright solids are a great touch.
ReplyDeletethat is completely adorable!
ReplyDeleteI adore this. You never make any boring or ugly stuff. So glad you're my friend! Inspiration every time.
