Baskets Quilt

A newly decorated bedroom with chocolate walls and candy pink accents could certainly use a new quilt to add a little pizazz, don't you think?
Hm mm...., wonder who I know that would want something like that?
Could it be my favorite, just-turned-four-year-old little girl?

My grandchildren all seem to enjoy getting a new quilt from their Lolly. When I gifted this latest creation to Haven this morning, she gave it a big hug and acted like it was the best present in the whole world! Wouldn't it be great if she became a quilter someday?
I know one grandmother who would be really pleased to pass along such a fun hobby!

Are you passing on your love of quilts and fabric?

  3. The quilt is sooo gorgeous, I love the fabrics and those wonky baskets. But the cutest has to be those little legs with little crocs sticking out at the bottom! I also love your blog and have clicked to follow. I found it because Jennifer (comment above) has sent us asterisk blocks for her bee month and I found a great tute right here.

  6. Carla, I love how this turned out. It's the cutest quilt ever, partly because of that sweet little face peeking around the side. She is adorable. Happy birthday, Haven Paris!! I am addicted to making these baskets/pails. It's all I want to do. I need more people who live @ the beach. XO

  7. Soooooooo cute!

My daughter is home from college for the summer and is very interested in fabric and sewing (not quilting -- yet). It's fun to get her opinion. She has a pretty good eye!
