Hello! Anybody there?

Yes, it has been awhile. Like three years! But, I've been thinking about brushing off the cobwebs and blogging about my quilting again. It's such a great way to document what I make, so even if no one reads blogs anymore, it might be fun!
I've been busy, as you can see by this stack of quilts that will soon be flying to Nepal with my husband and son. They will brighten the beds of 15 handicapped children living together in a children's home. I'm pretty excited to have been a part of making it happen!

  2. Oh, you know I am ALWAYS here for you Carla! You are such an angel making all those quilts for the sweet children in Nepal. Linda told me how hard you were working to make sure this project happened! BTW I still blog but get fewer and fewer comments. Although whenever I have make rumblings of stopping, people beg me not to! SO even if people don't always comment, I know my quilts etc motivate and inspire others....as do yours!!

  3. How nice to see your name in my In Box!
What a lovely pile of quilts. Doesn't it feel great to be quilting for a good cause? Today I sent a much smaller stack of kennel quilts out, to bring a little comfort after Hurricane Florence, and my whole day felt brighter.

  5. Hello Carla! So happy to see you here. i periodically look for you and was delighted to find you this morning. I am always inspired by your sewing and quilting. I too still blog and don't get too many comments, but I like this way of reporting and I know I get people stopping by, so that's okay. Welcome back.

  7. What a beautiful stack of quilts going off to brighten the children's lives! Well done. I actually still enjoy blogs and reading more in depth than IG allows for but that said I don't keep up with reading blogs like I used to. My own blogging and other social media has really dropped off this year. I like to think of it now as a way for me to record things even if no one else reads it.
