I find that the pattern goes together quickly, so making three wasn't that big of an undertaking, really. I made a few adjustments to the pattern; the biggest being adding a placket in the back. If you are interested, you can read more of a review of the pattern here.
The pattern uses a cute little loop for the button closing...
The tops will look cute with shorts, too, when the weather heats up. Lula and Jane get so excited when I sew for them that it makes me want to do nothing else but make pretty little dresses!
Next to making quilts, sewing for children is my favorite past time!
Oh my gosh those are as cute as they can be!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute -- but not as cute as the models!
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin' cute!! I agree that sewing for children is so fun… I haven't tried sewing my nephew any clothes yet, though - he's growing too fast.
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! But not as cute as the little girlies! Wow! How special. And those buttons are perfect!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to spend your time- making for these little dolls! Adorable!

ReplyDeleteVery cute, great use of that fabric. Such nice colors with their beautiful hair!
ReplyDeleteOMG, Carla, who wouldn't want to sew for those adorable girls!
ReplyDeleteLove the bella tops, they are so cute, and so are your granddaughters. Where did you find those grey polka dot leggings. They are perfect with the tops :>)
ReplyDeleteSew danged adorable! Those scrunchy-grin faces are sooo cute! You sew like a professional, and the girls look like runway charmers.
