I'm a big fan of fans!
They are cool on my skin these hot days, as well as cool on quilts!
This is my first time to try this quilt design myself....
kinda slow going, but, so far so good!
The Remarkable Fan template by The Gadget Girls is really clever and making the marking easy when paired with my Bohin mechanical chalk pencil.
I'm also a fan of "cool" ballet.....
I wonder if she gives autographs?
Baptist fans are my favorite. Might have to invest in that tool! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool fans....and a cutey fan too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling wee one ...

Thank you sooooo much for the link to the Baptist fan template! I have loved this quilting pattern since I first saw it on Marit's blog.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're a fan... of the quilted kind and the sweet little girl kind. I've never quilted fans. I want details about how well that works on a machine. Lots of stops and starts I'd guess, or quite a bit of traveling. Do let us know.
ReplyDeleteI love baptist fans!! And your dancer isn't too bad either :). Never heard of Bohin pencils - do they really work?
ReplyDeleteAh, curves! This novice hasn't been that brave - yet!
ReplyDeleteI love baptist fans as well. I think I'll have to check out that gadget! Um, the entertainment is adorable--I think it always helps to have a pink tutu on hand!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! The fan pattern is going to be beautiful on that quilt. And what great entertainment too. I miss the tutu days...
ReplyDeleteJennifer :)
Great idea for quilting! Are you stitching over the flanges? I made a similar quilt using your tutorial and will have to send you a photo of what I'm doing. Now on to order one of those fan templates. . .
